Once people know how much money they have (resource allocation) they develop a support plan that describes how they want to spend it. This is signed off by the local authority against a specific criteria and after a while will be reviewed together to see how things are going. People who are using their own money (self funders) may also find support planning helpful.
HSA are founding partners of inControl, and lead on the development of support planning and review.

HSA works with iMPOWER to help deliver better support planning as part of the individual budgets transformation agenda
